Emmanuel Methodist Junior High School has won the 2025 edition of the Junior Science and Maths Quiz (JSMQ) National Championship.

The Grand Finale of the Competition was held at the CCB Auditorium of KNUST which featured three schools where Emmanuel Methodist JHS emerged winners by beating Best Brain Junior High School and Good Shepherd RC JHS.

With 32 points, Emmanuel Methodist JHS secured the title as the Best Junior High School in a highly competitive final contest over Best Brain Academy, which followed with 28 points though they put up a strong challenge throughout the rounds, and Good Shepherd RC JHS finished third with 15 points.

As part of the prize package, each contestant from Emmanuel Methodist JHS received a laptop in addition to a cash award of GH₵10,000 for the school. 

The first runner-up, Best Brain Academy, received GH₵7,000, while Good Shepherd RC JHS, the second runner-up, took home GH₵5,000. In addition to these packages, all three schools received GH₵250 per contestant, a gesture through the generous sponsorship of Prof. A. Y. Omari-Sasu.
